Drop forged and heat treated it is 170mm long, The approximate weight of the log splitter grenade is 1.80kg. The log splitter is manufactured from mild steel to avoid the danger of splintering when hit. The splitter is pointed for easy insertion and is designed for use with a sledge hammer. The notched sides helps prevent the splitter from popping out the timber during striking thus making it easy to split a large quantity of logs.
